Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please be advised that LAUSD schools will be closed in observance of Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day.

Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day is observed each year on April 24 to honor the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who were lost during the events of 1915–1923. This day provides an opportunity for students and families to learn about an important part of world history and reflect on the impact of injustice and discrimination.

We encourage families to take this time to reflect and engage in meaningful conversations at home.
